La Carmari, is located in Adolfo Alsina, in the Province of Buenos Aires, 50 km. from Mdel Meridiano VII, límite de esta con la Provincia de fromeridian VII, 25 km. fromde la Ciudad de Carhué, a 50 km.Carhué City, 50 km. fromde la Ciudad de Pigüe,  a 540 km.Pigüe City and 540 km. fromde la Ciudad de la Plata.La Plata.Se encuentra emplazada a una altura sobre el nivel del mar de 700m.It is located 700m above sea levely a  50m.and a 50m. above sobre el nivel del Lago Epecuén.Lake Epecuén level.

Cuenta  con una superficie propia de 1006 ha.It has an area of 1006 hectaresde las cuales 506 has.(506 pertenecen a Prates y Cia SCA y 500 has.belongs to Prates y Cia SCA and 500a Azinagro SA.to Azinagro SA).ambas firmas origen del mismo grupo familiar.Both firms owned by the same family group.

Las propiedades son linderas, y se le agregan 309 has.The production area includes other 309 rented hectares.

La explotación es mixta. En agricultura, se cultiva trigo, avena, maíz, y pasturas en base a alfalfa.In agriculture, we cultivated wheat, oats, corn, and based on alfalfa pasture.La ganadería exclusivamente como Cabaña de la raza Aberdeen Angus (Pedigree y Puro Controlado), y en menor escala las raza Shorthorn y Hereford (sólo  Pedigree).Livestock Cottage exclusively as the Aberdeen Angus breed (Pedigree and Certified Cattlel), and less in Shorthorn and Hereford (pedigree only).

Originariamente por los años 1975/76, a  partir de un rodeo de 600 madres Shorthorn se comienza la cría de Puro por Cruza de esta raza ya partir del año 1980 se incorporan 60 vacas Angus colorado provenientes de la prestigiosa cabaña GURE ETCHEA de Lisazo en Guarini.   Las crías de este rodeo con padres de las mejores líneas de Angus colorado de esa época, nos permiten crecer como criadores de Angus colorado PC en la región y obtenemos los primeros premios importantes en la Exposición de Bahía Blanca 1992 el lote Gran Campeón macho PC  y en la Exposición de Azul de la Asociación Argentina de Angus los lotes Gran Campeón Macho y Gran Campeón Hembra en PC.BornBThe activity starts in 1975, after a staff of 600 Pedigree Shorthorn Cows. In 1980, 60 Red Angus Cows where added, bought to the prestigious Rodeo of Lisazo. The calves of this rodeo with the best blood of red Angus at that time, allowed us to grow as Pedigree Red Angus Breeders in the region and obtain the first major awards at the Exhibition of 1992 in Bahía Blanca, getting the Male Grand Champion Certified in Batch, and in The Exhibition of the Argentine Angus Association in Azul, getting The Grand Champion Male and Female Grand Champion on Certified Angus Cattle.y Gran Campeón macho en Coronel Suárez.

En el año 1995 nacen por transplante embrionario las primeras crías de Pedigree en nuestra Cabaña y obtenemos en el 1998 el Gran Campeón macho Pedigree de la categoría Senior en la Exposición de Otoño en Azul auspiciada por la Asociación Argentina de Angus.In 1995 born the firsts calves by pedigree embryo transfer in our Rodeo. Later, in 1998 we obtein the Male Pedigree Grand Champion in Senior category award in Azul Autumn Exhibition sponsored by the Argentine Angus Association.

En el transcurso de nuestro trabajo hemos obtenido Gran campeón macho y Gran Campeón hembra y Reservado Gran Campeón macho y hembras en distintas Exposiciones de las Sociedades Rurales de JUNIN, BOLIVAR, RIO COLORADO, CHOELE CHOEL, SAAVEDRA, Cnel.Since 1995, we obtain many awards: Male and Female Grand Champion and Male and Female Reserved Grand Champion in different exhibitions. (Junín, Bolívar, Río Colorado, Choele Choel, Saavedra, Coronel Suarez, Carhué, Guaminí, Santa Rosa, and Bahía Blanca).

En las Exposiciones de PALERMO hemos obtenido 1°, 2°,3° premios en las distintas categorías de machos y hembras de la raza Angus y en el año 2007 el Gran Campeón Junior y Gran Campeón macho de la raza Shorthorn.We were awarded in the most important cattle tournamente in South America, The Nacional Palermo exhibitions of Argentina. We have obtained 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes in different categories of males and females on Angus breed and in 2007 the Male Grand Champion Shorthorn breed.

Hemos sido la cabaña de mayor puntaje en el año 2006 en el Circuito del Sur de la Raza Angus y en el 2007 el 2° mejor puntaje de la misma raza en el Circuito Bonaerense de Pedigree.We have the highest scored rodeo in 2006 in the Southern Angus Circuit and in 2007 the 2nd best store.

Fuimos una de las primeras Cabañas que adoptamos el Sistema ERA de la Asociación Argentina de Angus y el INTA Castelar para la obtención de los DEP (Diferencia Esperada en la Progenie) de nuestras crías de Pedigree.We were one of the first rodeos in certificate trazability and EPD (Expected Progeny Difference) by Argentine Angus Association and .

Actualmente con un Plantel de 100 madres de Pedigree por Inseminación Artificial y Transplante Embrionario con machos nacionales e importados continuamos mejorando nuestra genética fijando animales de tamaño moderado, de gran fertilidad, bajo peso al nacer, y facilidad de engorde en sistema pastoril.Currently with a staff of more than 100 Pedigree cows by artificial insemination and embryo transfer with domestic and imported bulls, we continue to improve our genetics setting animals of moderate size, high fertility, low birth weight, and easy-fattening in pastoral system.

Con un rodeo de 500 madres PC (puro controlado), marca líquida, todas ellas hijas de nuestro rodeo original e hijas de los mejores padres de la raza, ofrecemos a nuestros clientes la mejor genética actual en los toros y vaquillonas que ofrecemos a venta todos los años.With a staff of 500 Certified Cows, liquid brand, all daughters of our original rodeo and daughters of the best parents of the breed, we offer our customers the best current genetic bulls and heifers that we offer for sale every years.

Estos resultados no los habríamos obtenidos si no tuviéramos un gran cariño por la ganadería y por las razas británicas y si no hubiéramos contado con el entusiasmo y profesionalidad del Dr. Darío Palumbo, nuestro primer asesor en genética, del Licenciado Juan Ignacio de Ezcurra, nuestro actual asesor desde hace 10 años y de nuestros cabañeros Alfredo Díaz y Carlos Bonomo, que con su dedicación de todo el año son los que diariamente trabajan con los reproductores en su crianza y preparación.We had a great fondness for the livestock and the British breeds. We are really grateful to the professionalism of Dr. Dario Palumbo, our first genetic counselor,  Juan Ignacio Ezcurra, and to our “Cabañeros”, whose dedication throughout the year are those who work daily in upbringing and preparation.

En el transcurso de estos años de trabajo en la Cabaña hemos  cosechado clientes y amigos, y cultivado el respeto mutuo entre colegas cabañeros, jurados, y autoridades de las Distintas Asociaciones de Criadores y Directivos de las Sociedades Rurales con las que hemos tenido contacto, deseamos que esto siga así por siempre.During these years at the livestock business, we had made a lot of customers and friends, generating mutual respect among colleagues Cabañeros, juries, and authorities of Breeders Associations and Rural Societiesl Managers.

These values remain true today and are the reason we were able to celebrate our many awards. This is a milestone which all of us at La Carmari are very proud.
